I have been active in the building and construction fields for over thirty years. I have been a user of Chief Architect™ software since
1995 serving as a Beta Tester of Versions 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, X1
(11), X2 (12), X3 (13) and X4 (14). I represented
ART Inc. (Chief Architect Inc used to be known as "Advanced
Relational Technologies" until a few years ago when they
changed the name to its present one) along with Carey Stanly Architect and Craig Meyer AIBD in
the AEC CADD Shoot-out in 1999 in Washington D.C. ( a live contest
of CAD software and its users during a finite period of time)
In the 70's I worked for the largest property management company in
Texas running a division that provided the full range of building,
construction and remodeling services for investment properites.
In the 80's I owned and ran my own
Remodeling and Building services company.
In the 90's I worked with Design and Remodeling Solutions of Central
Texas as a
sub-contractor, projects foreman and then as a CAD operator/modeler,
Multi-Media presentations
and as his web site webmaster/designer.
In 1999 I started my own drafting
business serving other Chief Architect™ software users across the
country
and over seas. I am a constant Help contributor to the User Forums
for Chief Architect (Chief Talk [over 3,900 posts], Home Talk (Better
Homes and Gardens Home Designer software and Chief-Users). I have
taught Chief Architect™ software seminars for the Berridge Manufacturing
company in Seguin, Texas (2000-2002) as well as Tech
Ed (2004) and Chief Architect Inc in 2004-2006.
Houses, apartment complexes, small commercial office buildings and
numerous other remodeling projects I have modeled or assisted on
projects that stand
across the U.S., Canada, Scotland, Australia, New Zealand, Kenya,
Mexico, Guatemala, the United Kingdom,
the Cayman Islands, Virgin Islands, Sicily and Japan. I can help you.
Starting in 2003 I started "On Line" private Chief
Architect™ tutoring for my clients. Starting 2004 I assisted as a Chief Architect™
Certified Trainer
in Idaho, Texas and New Mexico in concert with Gray
Technologies and Chief Architect
Inc. Via Citrix Corp's "Go to
Meeting" desktop sharing
